Bath & North East Somerset Counselling Network
Our early life experiences can colour the way we see things today.
Today’s world is moving faster than ever before and we often find ourselves living at a pace where our own needs are being pushed aside. The nature of our relationships and the way we communicate with each other has changed. While there are many positives, we see less of each other, and are less able to find time for ourselves.
The way we deal with stress and depression can keep us preoccupied with pressures that can become unmanageable and the consequences can sometimes feel impossible to cope with.
Bath Counselling Network is a small co-operative founded twelve years ago. It is run by psychodynamic counsellors offering one to one counselling and couple counselling. We work independently in Bath, Somerset and Wiltshire and take referrals from GP surgeries, the general public and from our website.
How can counselling help?
Our counsellors will listen in a non-judgemental way and will provide a safe environment for you to explore any difficult issues and feelings which may be hard to discuss with others. It is important that you set the pace in a counselling relationship, and it is a time for you to talk as freely as you wish. The counsellor will not talk about himself/herself, and will ensure that your time is entirely for you.
Anything shared in the counselling session is strictly confidential.
